Happy Valentine’s Day!!
We believe that your future, and the future of business, depend on your capacity to LOVE.
Just like technology, humanity is evolving at an accelerated pace. It’s time to embrace a more conscious, evolved form of leadership. We need leaders who lead with their hearts, not just their minds.
3 ways to bring more HEARTÂ to your leadership:
Find the love for what you do – Why do you do what you do? Where do you find joy and fulfillment through your work? Reconnect with your Why, and let it bring more passion and purpose to your day-to-day work. Let it fuel and inspire you.
Love yourself – Just by loving yourself a little more, you’re elevating your leadership. When you love and respect yourself and believe you’re capable of great things, you unleash more of who you truly are. Instead of seeking out all your flaws (a very common side-effect of the problem-solver mindset!), seek out what you do well – your strengths and where you contribute the most value. And, please, take care of yourself first by managing your energy (pssst, we created the I2L Peak Performance Challenge specifically for this purpose). Make it part of your daily routine to nourish your body, mind and spirit through nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, time in nature, disconnecting from this noisy world and reconnecting with the people and things that matter most to you.
Love the people you lead – Rather than managing people to achieve short-term results, invest in them for the long haul. Instead of seeking out their flaws, shine the light on their strengths, contributions and potential for growth. Connect and engage with them in an authentic way. Get curious about who they are and what matters most to them. Ask them what they think, and then listen.
We’ve just given you three big ideas for how you can bring more love to your leadership. Which resonates most for you? This Valentine’s Day, why not choose one simple thing you can do today to bring more love? We promise, you won’t be the only one feeling the love!
See you in the Dâ¤ï¸P,
