Leadership Training
At Intend2Lead we believe that all training should include a mix of learning and practice, so every one of our sessions is designed to be interactive, challenging and fun.
We create offerings that support various modes, methods and styles of learning. We can deliver programming:
- On-site or virtually.
- Live or on-demand.
- In individual, small group or large group formats.
We specialize in co-creating customized leadership development solutions to help your organization make meaningful cultural change.
The three live, in-person workshops listed below represent our signature offerings for 2018. Each of these workshops is available in a 2-4 hour format to suit your needs. In addition to these signature offerings, we also provide programming on a broader range of leadership topics.

Break the Dependence – Empower through Curiosity Instead of Answers
Are your colleagues dependent on your continuing greatness and fire-fighting skills to get their work completed? Instead, how can you empower them to build their capacity to take on and solve their own challenges?
To break a cycle of dependence, you must first challenge the status quo of your interactions. Instead of always prescribing answers, you must use active listening and questioning skills…one conversation at a time.
- How can you stop being the problem solver and empower your staff to become more resourceful on their own?
- How can you ask questions that empower and influence instead of finding fault?
Habits Make the Leader
Are there things you want to change in your life or at your organization? What’s stopping you? Most of us don’t realize how much our ingrained habits rule our lives, actions and results.
Once you understand the science of habits, you can be intentional about choosing habits that will make you unstoppable. In this session you will learn:
- How the conscious and subconscious minds interact to shape our behaviors and mindset.
- The habit loop, including how to consciously break bad habits and create new, better habits.
- The common habits that intentional leaders share.
The Power of Listening
One of the most important skills we can master is listening. It may also be the most difficult. When we fail to listen – communication breaks down, our projects break down, and our relationships break down. In our fast paced, multi-tasking, and technology driven world, the art of listening has become underrated, yet even more needed.
In this very interactive session, we will explore:
- Why is listening so hard for human beings?
- What are the three levels of listening?
- How can you be more intentional with choosing the depth of your listening?
