Intend2Lead - Empowering Intention...Empowering PossibilitiesDo you want to be a better leader? Do you want to be a better parent, a better spouse, a better partner, a better friend…a better human being? Do you want to grow in a way that allows you to enjoy the process, as well as the results? Then read on…

Would you like to create more possibilities in your life, organization and community? The purpose of Intend2Lead is to empower emerging leaders to explore who they can become when they are supported with knowledge, inspiration and community.

Business needs more possibilities to thrive…more passion, more innovation, more connection. We need intentional leaders who inspire us to shift our focus from barriers to possibilities. We need you.

Here’s what we won’t be doing….

We are not here to tell you what to do.  No, we do not have all the answers. Nor do we want them…then life wouldn’t be as much fun! Like you, we are each traveling on our own path. We are learning as we go. We believe that each of us has our own answers within. Our job is to help you find yours.

We are not here to mold you into our version of an ideal leader. There are as many definitions of leadership as there are people in the world. Our job is to help you figure out what leadership means to you.

We are not here to “fix†you. We don’t think you’re broken. We believe you’re doing your best. We appreciate you and the unique value you have to offer the world. We want to help you uncover more of your best self…what makes you special, your gifts, your passion, your purpose, your energy. We want to help you envision what you can contribute to the world when you tap into your best self.

But here’s what we will do…

We are here to challenge the way you think. We want to help you shift the way you see yourself and the world around you…from an external focus where you are reacting to things that happen to you to an internal focus where you can create your own life experience.

We are here to simplify. When we create unnecessary complexity and barriers, we hold ourselves back. When we always focus on action first, we push. We struggle. We strive. We make things harder than they need to be. We run out of willpower. When we take time to clarify our thoughts first, the actions we take have more impact.

We are here to empower you. When we blame other people, events or circumstances, we give away our power. When we take responsibility for ourselves and our circumstances, we find our true power within. We can actually start to shift our external circumstances to something better.

We are here to help you create new possibilities. When we live in fears and limiting beliefs, we limit possibilities. When we identify and explore our fears and limiting beliefs, we expose them. We can move past them with courage. We can see new possibilities for ourselves that weren’t visible before. We see new ways to inspire positive change in ourselves, our families, our organizations, our professions, our communities, and our world.

At this point, you’re probably thinking, “Sure, this sounds good, but how are you actually going to do this?†We’ll share with you a little about how we can do this together.

The Intend2Lead Blogcast supports your journey by sharing knowledge and inspiration through different mediums (written, audio and video). Our focus is on leadership and self-development topics. We will dig deep, beneath the surface, to help you uncover your best self.

We want to create a community in which you feel a healthy balance of support and challenge. By creating a virtual community for collaboration, we can be and do much more together than we ever could apart. Please share your ideas on how we can best support and challenge you by leaving us a comment.
